Trick or Treat!

Happy Halloween! We had a great one and we hope everyone else did too. Will dressed up as the cutest little pea in the pod and he thought it was a ton of fun!

And the girls were busy little bees. Here they are after trying on their costumes for the first time, Amanda first then Natalie.

The girls practiced "flying" in their costumes and Natalie was about ready to take off here.

And here they are with mom at a fun Halloween party; thanks Dawn and Randy we all had a great time!

Finally, here we all are trick-or-treating with the little busy bees.

Amanda the Fashionista

The girls are really starting to develop their own personalities and individual likes and dislikes these days. In the "like" category for Amanda are pretty purses and shoes. We're in trouble! She picked these shoes and this bag out of mommy's closet and did a remarkable job of walking around in those shoes for the next several hours!

Will is Two Months Old

Will celebrated his two-month old birthday on October 19th. We will have his official stats on Monday after his doctor's visit, but you can see he has gotten a lot bigger (and chubbier!) in the last several weeks. He continues to be a very happy and easy going baby. He is also incredibly tolerant of the kisses, hugs, pokes and prods he receives from his adoring sisters -- thank goodness, because they are incessant!

Here are a few photos taken on his two-month old birthday.

*Edited to add Will's stats following his doctor appointment. He weighs 10 lbs 15.4 oz (25th percentile) and is 23 inches long (45th percentile).

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend, we visited the pumpkin patch to get ready for our Halloween celebrations. Unfortunately, many of the pumpkins were rotting as a result of the huge storm we had that week. But that did not stop us from having fun and picking out a few good pumpkins.

Here is Dad with the girls in the pumpkin field:

Natalie striking out on her own -- she is very independent.

Amanda hanging out with Dad. And, yes, that is a bandaid on her forehead -- she had a bad fall earlier in the week.

Natalie feeding a goat.

Being Halloween characters -- first Natalie, then Amanda.

And, a short video of Dad and the girls hauling the pumpkins to the car. It was a team effort! And Natalie would not let go of that wagon despite taking a tumble at the end....

We also went to the playground that same day and here a few extra shots of the girls doing what they do best.

It's Been A Busy Few Weeks....

Sorry for the posting delay! Needless to say, between trying to keep up with three children under the age of two, do a little work and keep the household running, there is not much time left for blogging! We have had some fun outings over the last few weekends. Several trips to various parks to enjoy the nice fall weather and then, last weekend, a trip to the local bounce house where we pretty much had the place all to ourselves!

Natalie and Amanda loved this little school bus:

And, of course, Will went to the bounce house too and he had great fun hanging out with mom!

Also, to get a little "trick or treat" practice in before the big day, I dug out last year's Halloween costumes, which fit better now than they did last year. Here are our two little puppies appropriately playing with the dog dishes:

And Amanda posing with the real dog

Will is doing great, as well. He is getting bigger by the day and is full of grins and smiles now....although they are fleeting so a bit difficult to capture on camera. Here is my best effort:
