Happy Easter!

We had a great day and we hope you did too! The kids had a wonderful time hunting for eggs in the house this morning. Here is Natalie showing off the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid in the plant.

Here, Will checks out the goodies in his basket.

And Amanda is excited about robin eggs.

Natalie thinking hard about how she can take two baskets....

and then is very excited to find a new pair of sunglasses!

All of the kids LOVE candy and managed to quickly devour their fair share before breakfast. Here is Amanda with a mouthful of marshmallow.

And Will with chocolate.

Will was also excited about his new sunglasses.

Here he is reading his Easter card.

Everybody had breakfast with their shades on....while repeatedly asking for more candy!

In the afternoon, we went to one of our favorite places for another egg hunt. Here, Will goes down the rabbit hole slide head first.

Amanda is excited about the baby ducks.

Natalie had fun watching them too.

Will LOVED going down the Mother Goose slide and did it a million times.

This is the big smile Will flashed at the bottom of the slide as he ran to go climb up it again. He was one happy boy!

Amanda had SO much fun on the crooked mile and she walked it over and over. (Thank you, Grandma Jean and Grandpa Bruce for the adorable outfits!)

Here Will and Amanda say "hello" from the house at the end of the crooked mile.

We saw these cute bunnies. Perfect for Easter.

And we were all lucky enough to decorate and eat some yummy egg-shaped cookies. Will licks the frosting off first, just like he's eating an ice cream cone.

Before we went home we all had a little pow wow in the tee pee.

And when we got home, Will "drove" the car for a little bit. Nothing makes him happier!

Easter Eggstravaganza

The Easter Bunny has arrived! Today, it was so nice and warm out and we were lucky enough to have an an egg hunt right down the street. Here are two of our little hunters.

The third hunter had a difficult time grasping the rules and he nabbed these two orange eggs before the official start of the hunt! And he was NOT letting them go thereafter.

Miss Amanda had great fun this year. Here she is playing before the eggstravaganza began. And she was eager to have her picture taken with Mr. Easter Bunny. Natalie, on the other hand, was petrified of the Easter Bunny and the entire egg hunt itself. Just like last year, she cried her way through the entire process. We tried to get a group photo after the hunt was over but Will was the only one interested in that idea.

When we got home, the sprinklers were running in front of our house. Even though it was nap time, we indulged the kids and let them run amok for awhile in the sprinklers.

It didn't take long before everyone was dripping wet!

Will kept telling us how cold the water was, but he didn't let it stop him from showering himself in the spray.

He even lifted up his shirt and let the water splash right onto his belly!

And when we were all done, mom and dad got a nice break because everyone took a great nap!

Picnic Time

We were lucky enough to have a family picnic at our favorite local winery this weekend and the kids were lucky enough to have GIANT cookies after finishing off the rest of their lunch. Here is Will with his GIANT cookie.

And Amanda with hers.

Natalie ate a little slower than the rest of the kids so we don't have any pictures of her GIANT cookie. She liked the candy on top the best and left the rest of the cookie for mom and dad to enjoy. After eating lunch, we played a little ball...

and took a walk in the vineyards. (Poor Natalie is suffering immensely from allergies, as you can see from the dark circles around her eyes.)

And then we did a little posing in front a beautiful wooden door at the winery.

While the kids started off serious, they quickly became silly little hams for the camera....

Outside Fun

Well, it looks like spring is really here! The rain ended a few days ago allowing the sun to shine and dry out everything and everyone! Yea! To celebrate, we all made a trip to Fairytale Town. Here, Will gives the hand pump a try to bring the water back...good thing it is not attached to a real well as water would be flowing all over the place. Will watches for his sisters as they round the bend on the crooked mile...

To everyone's surprise, there were several chickens running loose on the ground...brings back memories of Hawaii! Both Will and Natalie try to call the chicken over for a closer look.

Amanda enjoys a slide down the Jack and Jill hill.

Over that past few weeks, Natalie has been developing the cheesy side of her personality. Below are a few action shots of her being silly. She has also become a pro at making her eyebrows move up and down, and it is quite amusing to watch. We will try to capture her antics on a future video for all to enjoy. Here, she "poses" for several shots.

Being 3 years old, the girls love doing jobs and also doing everything themselves. After Fairytale town, we all took a late afternoon walk through the neighborhood to the schoolyard. The girls thought it was great fun to give Will a ride. They managed to walk him all the way there!

What fun!

The local school has a new playground area with some fun and unique toys. Here, Will enjoys a ride on his airplane.

Amanda pauses to pose for a quick photo.

Will has to do everything that his big sisters do...for example, the girls found this ladder as the only way to enter the playground, so Will had to do too!

Yes I can!

Here are some random photos of our beautiful children. Hey Mom, look at me in my cedar playhouse!

I like to smile for the camera!

Can we come back again tomorrow? Please?!
