Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful fathers in our extended family and friends!  This year, the kids and Mom took Dad out to one of our favorite restaurants!  They have wonderful food that both kids and parents really enjoy eating.  They also do not mind our sometimes loud crew and when Will went to take ice out of a wine bucket being used by someone else.  ;-)  Below are our beautiful kids on this very special day to Dad.  How fortunate and blessed we are to have such wonderful kids.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

Caught In the Act!

These kids enjoy expressing their creativity and they do it in so many unique ways.  Many of which give us a good laugh.

Like this, for example, when they sat in front of the computer and turned themselves into aliens.

Or gypsy Amanda with her headdress and beautiful earrings.

Natalie loves to draw.  Here, she shows off a lovely picture of mom and dad getting married.  Awwww!

And then there is our cool dude.  No words necessary!

Memorial Day Weekend - 2014

We had a wonderful holiday weekend.  The kids got in lots of fun play and mom and dad truly took a break, which felt so good!

The weather was very warm so we got out the water toys.  That hose water is always cold though, even when it's hot outside!  But, Natalie does not mind!

Will wore this blue hat all day on Saturday.  We had to beg him to take it off at the end of the day!  He played in the water for a bit, before declaring that it was just too cold for him.

Undaunted, the girls decided to break out the slip and slide.  Here they are, ready for their first run!

Still smiling about a million runs later!

William and his hat again!

William had no problem lending a helping hand with the hose.  Brrrr!

Amanda proves she is one tough cookie!

The real pool was, unfortunately, looking a little green this weekend.  Dad tried all sorts of things to return it to blue.  Like buying a new filter, which came in this very play-friendly box.  Natalie and Will had great fun hopping inside.

We also did lots of art this weekend.  These paintings were made by Natalie and Amanda.  They took bubble wrap and taped it to their feet and then painted away.   Will made one too but we think it blew away as we can't seem to find it anywhere.

Paper plates were also a medium for our art projects this weekend.

And we rounded out the weekend with a little golf.  In our pajamas, of course!

Amanda's got quite the swing.
