Sable

I said Sable was silly before and here is more evidence to prove it. She was sleeping in her "condo" yesterday on her back (as usual) and when she decided to lay on her side instead she ran out of room, so her face was smooshed against the side of the condo. She slept like this for a good 10 to 15 minutes before deciding it wasn't really comfortable! Although it kind of looks like she is growling and showing us her pearly whites in the process, rest assured she is fast asleep!

And here she is later looking like a pretty girl.

A Day In the Life

Natalie and Amanda both like to sleep with their arms in the air. I think they are getting ready for the Superbowl.....TOUCHDOWN!!! Here is Natalie:

The Weigh In

We went to the doctor again this morning as they have been monitoring the girls' weight. Last week, Natalie got clearance for no more weigh-ins, but Amanda is still going. It was a good day! We weighed Natalie since we were there and she gained over a pound in the last week! She is now a whopping 7 lbs. 9 oz. Amanda also did well by breaking the 5 pound barrier. She is now at 5 lbs. 4 oz. Yeah! She still needs to go back in 2 weeks for another weigh in but we're on the right track!

Dad bought the girls some very cute jackets last night as they didn't have proper outside attire. Here the are wearing them after we returned from our appointment.

My Name Is......

Natalie and Amanda received these VERY CUTE outfits from Debbie A. at Dad's work. Not only do they have the cute "My Name Is...." on the front but they are PURPLE, which is Mom's favorite color! Also, they fit, which is amazing since not much fits them yet as they are so little, and they look great! Here is Natalie proudly showing off her cool shirt:

Our First Walk

We FINALLY made it outside for our first walk on Saturday! The weather was wonderful. It was warm and sunny. I was worried about trying to take the girls and Sable so we took Dad along on our first walk just to make sure it would be okay. It all worked out fine and the sunshine left the girls all tuckered out!

Hanging Out

We spend a lot of time just hanging out these days. (Well, feeding and changing diapers too!) Usually when we hang out, Natalie is asleep....


And Amanda is wide awake, just checking things out....

Silly Sable

Sable loves the girls! Every time she goes outside she checks to make sure they are still here when she gets back. She wants to give them lots of love and kisses but we try to keep that to a minimum! Here is a typical view of Sable resting in her "condo" during the day. Now I know what she does all day when we're gone.....sleep! She has always slept on her back; it was very cute when she was about 5 lbs. Now that she turned into such a big girl (about 85 lbs!!) it's just silly!


The girls spend most of their time on the couch these days and so Sable now lays right beside the couch and looks up at them. Very cute!

One of My Favorite Photos

I absolutely love this photo of the girls. It was taken on January 6th when they were only 3 days old. Amanda is on the left and Natalie is on the right.

Bath Time

Here are my little darlings having bath time. Although they look quite peaceful in these photos they really hate the bath so far. Natalie's shrieks can be heard far and wide. She even cries when I put lotion on her after her bath. But she sure looks cute with that duck on her head!
Amanda likes the bath a tiny little bit better than Natalie although she does cry. Once we get started though she quiets down and usually decides it's not so bad after all....

Natalie and Amanda's Birth Day (January 3, 2008)

Natalie and Amanda arrived with much anticipation on January 3, 2008. Mom and Dad are so excited to have them!! The official "stats" are as follows: Natalie Estelle was born at 4:55 p.m. and weighed 6 lb. 7 oz. and is 20 inches long. Amanda Marie was born at 5:07 p.m. and weighed 4 lbs. 11 oz. and is 18 1/2 inches long. They are both doing great! Mom and Dad are tired but loving every minute of it!! Here is Mommy with Amanda:
