Rocking Out

Last week, the girls spent part of the morning rocking out -- Natalie and Amanda style -- in the rocking chair in their room. They looked so grown up that I just had to run and grab the camera. Here they are with Amanda on the left and Natalie on the right.

Big Girls!

The girls seem like they are getting bigger by the day! We stopped by Goore's today for a few things and discovered they have an infant scale. So, we promptly plopped those girlies on that scale for a quick weigh in, which isn't completely accurate because they were fully clothed and diapered, but close enough for now! Natalie weighed in at about 13 lbs and Amanda was 10 lbs 14 oz. Wow!!

Discovering Each Other

Recently, Natalie and Amanda have been discovering each other more. They will often sit and stare at each other for minutes at a time. And, every once in awhile, one might give the other a little smile. Otherwise, it's just very intense staring, for now at least!

Spring Fling!

Last weekend it was so warm and beautiful here, so we decided to head to a local winery for a picnic with friends Lynn and Dave and their cutie pie Jillian. Here is a picture of Lynn and Jillian having a quiet moment on a bench.







And, the girls are lucky enough to have their Grandma Totten visiting again. Yeah!!! (And yeah for Mommy and Daddy who get a little break!!) Here is Grandma with Amanda:






The girls were both well behaved and they seemed to love being outdoors. Here is Natalie chillin' in the shade. Aaahhh, what a great day!

Yeah for Aunties and Cousins!!

Natalie and Amanda are so lucky to have wonderful aunties and cousins. Here they are with Auntie Shelly.

Three Months Old!!!

Natalie and Amanda turned three months old on April 3rd!! I can't believe how the time is flying by. They are getting bigger by the second it seems and we see many smiles these days. They also laugh and coo a lot and are able to carry on amazing conversations with all of us! They are both starting to roll over and we now often find Amanda facing the opposition direction in her crib in the morning from how we put her down as a result of her rolling and scooting action.
