Thomas the Train
It was *really* hot last weekend (funny, because the temperature dropped about 30 degrees this week), so we were looking for some indoor activities and found our way to the train museum. While there are plenty of very cool old trains to explore on the first floor of the museum, the girls particularly liked the second floor where they got to play with Thomas and friends at toy train tables. My favorite part of the trip was when I looked up to see Natalie walking around the table loaded up with as many toy trains as she could carry. Nice toddler moment. We, being dutiful parents, of course, told her she had to *share* those trains with the other kids playing at the table. But we did chuckle to ourselves, nevertheless.
And a bonus shot from last weekend of a new hairdo for the girls. Unfortunately, for the most part, they refuse to keep barrettes in their hair and Natalie's hair is now so long she really needs one to keep it out of her eyes. So, we tried this look over the weekend instead. It lasted about an hour. We'll keep trying!

Happy One Month Birthday, Will!
Will is already a month old! So far, he's succeeding in his main goal in life, which is to get bigger. He's becoming chubbier by the minute, it seems. We have a weight check tomorrow so we'll have the official stats then, but for the meantime, just look at those chubby cheeks! The photo immediately below was taken yesterday when we were at Fairytale Town and the photo below that was taken a few days earlier -- there is definitely more chub now!
A Family Adventure
Saturday was a beautiful day and we had a great trip to Fairytale Town -- our first outing as a family following the birth of Will . The girls had a great time and Will slept a lot so it was a successful trip! Daddy and the girls walked the crooked mile.
And the girls went down *every* slide many, many times.

Cute, Cute
It's been a busy third week for Will so far. He's spending a little more time each day alert and exploring his surroundings. Here is Will with big sister, Amanda (who, by the way, looked a whole lot like Will when she was the same age...I'll have to post some comparison pics). Natalie declined to be in the picture (we've reached the two's even before becoming two!) but I'm sure we'll have some pictures of all three of the kiddos before too long.
Just chillin'.....
All that awake time does wear the little guy out though....

Ring Around The Rosie
The girls learned Ring Around The Rosie thanks to Grandma Jean and just can't get enough of it. Here they are showing how it's done!
