Superheros

It was a superhero kind of day on Saturday as we attended an awesome birthday party for a little friend.  The party favors were these great superhero capes and masks, personalized with each kid's initial on the back.  (Wow, that was a LOT of work!)  Our kids were definitely fans!

 

 

They also loved getting their faces painted.  Natalie waited in line 3 times and was pretty much out of space on her face for any more painting by the end of the party.

 

 

Will got a blue dinosaur.

Amanda chose a butterfly for one side and a rainbow for the other. 

Natalie's first painting was a white ladybug with colorful dots.  Next up was a rainbow and finally a butterfly on the forehead.

The superhero costumes came out again after we were home.

And here, all three superheros decided they needed to "rescue" daddy who was apparently in distress!

 

And since this is a dress up post, we can't resist adding a few shots from recent dress up sessions.   This one of Amanda is awesome!  She got herself all dressed in the play room and then came sprinting out looking like this.  That made my whole day!  

Later, both girls showed their girly girl side and moved into full-on princess mode.
