Three!

It's hard for us to believe it, but our little guy turned three on August 19th. (Yes, we ARE a few weeks behind on the blog.....) Of course, if you ask him, he was turning four (maybe because that's how old his sisters are) or even older, depending on the day. But, he really is just three. 

Will has grown and changed so much over the last year.  He is a smart little, rough and tumble guy with an active imagination, quick wit and excellent verbal skills.  Will also remains our sweet little boy.  He is generous and kind with his sisters and his friends.  Recently, when he was out on a trip with us, he wanted to be sure that we bought Natalie and Amanda a present and he was excited to hand them out when we arrived home.   

Here is Will on his actual birthday.  He dressed in his tie-dye shirt for the special occasion because, to him, that is the fanciest shirt he owns!  
 

Will was very excited to receive a Transformer for his birthday, and he *loves* the Avengers and anything that looks or acts like a superhero.  He's pretty sure he wants to be the Hulk when he grows up!
 

He also still loves dinosaurs.  Roar! And thank you, Rachel and Ryan!

Will was very excited to blow out his candles.  He had been practicing the blowing part for some time.  He has a gentle little blow though and so he often needs several tries.

Two down, only one to go.

He tried.

And tried some more until he finally got it.

Victory!  And now the cupcake eating part.  For Will, that really just consists of eating the frosting!  He has no interest in the cake....that's just the vehicle!

Amanda and Natalie were a bit jealous watching Will open his presents, but they took it in stride.  They even talked about it in advance and told us they were not going to be too sad or cry.  I love that they are getting old enough to express their feelings!  Here is happy Amanda.
