Sisterly Love

The girls are finally starting to enjoy each other's company a little more. They will now occasionally laugh and play together and chase each other around. I can't wait for more of that! Here's proof that they like each other more, as Amanda is on the verge of planting a big kiss on her big sis and the photo after that was a brief moment of them holding hands.

Here is smiley Amanda. I can always count on her to pose for the camera. In the second photo, she's smiling so big her eyes got lost....cracks me up when she does that!

And here is a much more stoic Natalie.

Here are a couple of photos of our trip into the backyard. The weather has been lovely all weekend and so we spent some time outside since we finally got the pool gated off. The girls are such busy bodies outside now it's hard to get any photo, let alone one of them looking at the camera!

Happy Easter!

Hope everyone is having a great Easter! It's a *beautiful* day here and we have been having fun! Here are the girls playing around outside. Natalie loves to walk -- she gets going on the sidewalk and would surely go for a mile or two. She gets very upset when it's time to turn around and go home.

Here are a few photos of the girls learning how to eat with their spoons. Makes a *huge* mess, but they enjoy it and love being independent feeders.

And here the girls are enjoying Easter morning and all of the goodies that the Easter Bunny brought to them.

The Zoo - Take II

We bought a family pass to the zoo so we expect to be visiting frequently. It's a really quick ride from the house so that makes it very easy to fit in the schedule.

Here are the girls getting ready to head into the zoo. They loved riding in their new wagon instead of the stroller....but they didn't love wearing the hats. We told them that it's one or the other and they managed to keep the hats on!

Here is Dad and the girls pointing at some monkeys.

Proof that we were actually at the zoo. This orangutan was quite the social butterfly.

Natalie riding on an ostrich, which she grew weary of very quickly.

Finally, Amanda with her "I'm ready to go home face...."

Recovered

Sorry for missing my traditional posting last weekend. We all came down with a terrible case of the stomach flu -- it hit the girls first, then me, then Bill and finally our nanny. Needless to say, it was a trying week. But, thankfully, we are all nearly fully recovered now. And I will post a bunch of pictures to make up for the lack of posting last weekend.

Here the girls are in their new wagon. They LOVE it although you can't tell from these poker faces.

Here is Amanda posing with daddy, followed by Natalie doing the same.

And, finally, here are the girls earlier this week just looking cute in some coordinating outfits.
