Happy Halloween!

Hello!

This little green dinosaur riding on his firetruck hopes you had a great Halloween! He got dressed in his costume as soon as he got home from school, at 3:30 pm in the afternoon and was ready to go!!

The lovely mermaid....

and the beautiful princess....

were just a tad bit more patient. But not much!!
So, after having our dinner, we headed out for some trick-or-treating and had a nice visit with our wonderful neighbors.

The lovely mermaid, beautiful princess and the green dinosaur had SO much fun that the beautiful princess declared that she wished we could go trick-or-treating every night!

By the time we got home, it was dark. After arriving home, the little green dinosaur and beautiful princess thought they saw a ghost!

But, alas, it was just a helicopter in the sky!

Inside, the lovely mermaid, beautiful princess and the little green dinosaur ate TOO much candy and then were quickly put to bed with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads. (Oh wait, that's the wrong holiday!)

Happy Halloween!!!

A New Haircut and All the New Things to do with a new 'Do!

It was definitely time for hair cuts at our house. Natalie and Amanda had been growing their hair and bangs out and while Natalie is still wedded to long hair, Amanda decided it was time for a cut. And Will was decidedly shaggy. Here are all three munchkins in a "before" shot.

Since Amanda was getting a new "style" we decided to check out a new place. And what a place it is. There are more toys there than at the toy store!

Amanda was first up and she decided to get a bob. Cute, cute! She also got some great braids and some glitter. Ooohhh!

Natalie got a little trim and she also got braided and glittered!

And Will got a new look too. It's amazing how a new haircut makes him look so much older!

Because everyone was so good during their haircuts, they were lucky enough to score some candy and suckers. Mom and Dad quickly realized the candy was a big mistake since we were headed out to dinner next and Will, in particular, was bouncing off the walls the whole time we were there. We won't make that mistake the next time! After dinner, we let the gang enjoy their suckers and they all wanted to show off their colored tongues afterwards.

And Amanda wanted to show off her cute new pose.

This weekend, their haircuts turned CRAZY at the park, where all three were full of static energy. They all had a case of the giggles from having this crazy hair, and we couldn't stop taking pictures because it was so funny!

Here is Will with his crazy hair!

Amanda looking normal before going down the static slide.

Back to Will and his craziness!

A "before" shot of Will.

A "before" shot of rainbow Natalie.

And a few of Natalie with the crazies!

Will again with a big smile.

And, last, but not least, Amanda gets in the action.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

It's that time of year to make the trek to the pumpkin patch. This year, we went to the Disneyland of all pumpkin patches with some of Natalie and Amanda's friends from school. Before our friends arrived, we were able to snap a group photo in front of a load of pumpkins.

Here is a warm up shot of the girls waiting patiently for Will to join them in the photo.

We also "rode" in the little school bus.

And sat in some cool seats made out of old tractor seats.

Then we headed to the petting zoo where the kids had fun feeding and brushing the goats....until one came along and butted Amanda in the behind. It scared her just a bit and she was ready to make a quick exit!

Our friends arrived while we were petting and brushing the animals and the girls were SO excited to see them that they ran around in circles. Here are four of the girls together -- two sets of twins! A fifth little friend joined us shortly thereafter.
After running around in circles, Amanda went and jumped in the hay.
Everyone tries out their animal personalities.

And then we watched the waterfall for awhile -- joined in this picture by our fifth friend.
Here is the whole gaggle waiting for our train ride. Does it look hot? Well, it was. Probably about 90 degrees at this point. Sheesh! Too hot for a day at the pumpkin patch (but beautiful and we're lucky to have such nice weather)!
Will started the day a little quiet since he was outnumbered by the shrieking girls. But he did enjoy the train ride with dad, despite the somber look.
The train ride took us by the GIANT pumpkin patch.
After the train ride, we dashed on to the next activity. The girls were SO excited to spend time together that they ran around the entire place holding hands. It was a little bit of a hazard because there were so many people there, but it was darn cute at the same time.
Will decided to pose for a couple of pictures while we ate lunch.
He was making some funny faces!
After lunch, we took a few rides down the slides and then it was time to go!
We had three hot and tired little people on the way home. Everyone took a nice nap in the car and all was good!
