Natalie and Amanda VIPs for the Week!

Natalie and Amanda are in their spring semester of Kindergarden and have been progressing at a very fast pace learning their reading, writing and arithmetic.  In addition to the 3 Rs, their teachers have been providing the students a nurturing atmosphere where they can also learn social skills as well as caring for one another.  One fun activity is being VIP for a week, where the child of the week has responsibility for taking care of Wendell and Disco (stuffed animals), taking photos and writing a report on all their adventures over the past several days.

Here is Natalie with Wendell at her Saturday swim lessons!

Eveyone knows that Saturday means the farmers market!  So Wendell joint the fun riding the Merry Go Round!  If you look closely, Will can be seen riding the turtle behind the bars!

Wendell and Natalie inspect the local carrots!

Here is a wonderful photo of the Bergamo 5...all posing with Wendell.

Natalie and Wendell get their picture taken with a chicken in the coop.

Natalie decides to let Amanda hold Wendell as she takes hold of the Barred Plymouth Rock chicken.

Finally, Natalie reads a story to Wendell .

Amanda has Disco for the week and Will gives them both a great big hug!

Disco also makes a trip to swim lesson, but does not make it inside.

After swim lessons, the entire family takes Disco out to see the Lego Movie!  If was a big hit!

Amanda and Dad have a nice meal with Disco.

Road Trip!  Disco loves riding in the car.  We had to keep the windows up to make sure Disco did not accidentally jumped out while we were driving.

Congrats to Natalie and Amanda for being VIPs!

Random Photos and Dinosaur Exhibit

Over the past few weeks we can captured many photos that have not been posted in the blog, but are worthy of being included.   So, this will be a "random photo" post!

Here is Natalie and Amanda on their way to school.   Amanda was the "VIP" for the week with her stuffed animal "Disco" in arms.  The girls sometimes act like they are best friends!

The kids love to go shopping and here is a great photo of Natalie trying on a Easter hat while on an excursion with Mom.

Similar photos have been posted before, but the kids climbing ability is very impressive!  Natalie show off her stuff!

Amanda is next!

The Farmers Market is a great spot for a Saturday morning to play, buy fresh produce, and to have a quick lunch.  They serve some great corn dogs and the kids eat'em up!

Yummy!

Mine tastes good!

The Red Cross was at the farmer's market during our last trip, and they were providing CPR lessons for anyone willing to listen.  Will loves new, cool and exciting things and was a quick to join the fun!

A dinosaur side show came to town and we went to visit one Sunday afternoon.  There were fun maze bounce houses and crazy exhibits.

Amanda poses with a baby brontasauras.

The kids come face to face with a raptor!

Will loves to see them pretending to eat!

Be careful Will, he may nibble your ear off!
