Bodega!

We look forward to Bodega weekend with great anticipation every year and this year was certainly no disappointment. The weather in Bodega was amazing. It pretty much looked like this the entire time we were there. We were very lucky!

Here is cute little Addie having a snack on the deck.

And here she is with her sister, Ali.

Here is the ever-silly Natalie with daddy.

And now some more serious shots.

The girl gang.

And our number one guy.

That boy still loves his "ma" SOOOO much!

Can you tell?

Amanda says, "can we please do this every day?"

Natalie agrees.

Dad was lucky enough to play golf on this beautiful course. Will decided he would camp outside our door to wait for Dad to go by!

Back inside, there was some serious beading going on.

Followed by a yummy lunch al fresco.

The highlight of the trip for the kids, hands down, was the day at the beach! Natalie shows off her excitement just after taking off her shoes to wiggle her toes into the sand.

It was sunny and warm, but still windy enough for kite flying. The kids jet airplane takes aim at the stealthy sting ray!

Amanda also is very excited to be on the beautiful beach!

The girls loved spending time with their new friend, Kaia. Kaia helped Amanda shovel sand into a bucket for the sand castle, and she helped Natalie cover her toes and legs in the sand.

And Will was in heaven playing in the sand. (However, he still is learning that sand does not taste too good and easily blows in the wind!)

Natalie joined him for a little burying action.

Monkey see, monkey do!

Amanda ran and ran.

And ran, and ran.

And ran and ran.

Then there was some log jumping into the soft sand landing below.

And the large tree stump jumping. There is SO much to do at the beach!

Will looks like a little troublemaker here....

....and here too!

....Amanda is still running out to the waves and back!

Everyone collected fun rocks and shells for school show and tell.

It was a very happy day and a wonderful trip!
