Fall Fun

We took a fantastic trip up to the Amador foothills recently with some of our best friends and their kids. A great time was had by all.  The adults were lucky enough to have a lovely picnic and partake in wine tasting while the kids played.

Piggy back rides were the event du jour.  Here is Will on the back of Jack.

The grounds were lovely and Will had fun looking at the little pond.

Miss Natalie shows off her necklace, which she bought at the "treasure" store.

While Miss Amanda shows us her best movie star look.

Here is the lovely Miss Addison.

Will ponders.

The girls strike a pose with Miss Kristin.

More pondering.

Big smiles.

The A girls:  Amanda, Addie and Ali.

Looking very cute in front of the pumpkins.

And in front of the tree.

A shot of all of the kids together.  I love this photo!

We ventured on to another winery, which had a beautiful mountain-top view.  Here are Will and Dad cracking up on top of the mountain!

Will borrows Addie's broom from her Halloween costume and gets ready to fly away.

The lovely Miss Ali.

Kevin and Kristin on the mountain top.

Bubbles!!!

A limo showed up while we were there.  While the occupants were wine tasting, Will took it on a little spin!

After the adults were done playing, we took the kids back to our cottages for a big Halloween party.  Everyone got dressed up!

Love the Dracula teeth and orange hair!

And then they played games.  First up, a doughnut eating contest.  Can anyone do it with no hands??  Will tried.

...and tried...

but then he gave in!

Amanda's turn!

She gave in too!

Natalie was up next.  She's got good form here but I think her hands were ultimately used too.

Here is the whole gang in their costumes.

The last game we played was Mummy.  Our three kids were the smallest so they all became the mummies.  Here is Will mummified.

And Amanda.  It's hard to tell it's her!

And Natalie.  She looks a bit like a Chef Mummy!

A big mummy smile.....

and that wraps it up!
