Happy Birthday!

Natalie and Amanda had a fabulous birthday party last weekend at a local dance studio.  They were so excited to celebrate with their best friends.   Upon arriving, we were very excited to see this giant cupcake with their names on it.

They also loved being princesses.

Once their friends friends started to show up, they too wanted to be princesses!

Dad decided to be a pirate.  Arg!

A nice shot of mom and dad with the birthday girls!  (The remaining one-fifth of the family refused to pose for the picture.)

Natalie and Amanda were particularly thrilled by the arrival of the real life Princess Jasmine at their party.

No party is complete without a little arm painting for everyone.

Once everyone received their favorite design, they began to start the dancing party with some hula hoops.

Will was still more interested in his hand painting and wanted to show everyone his shark.

More hula hoop action.

Come on, everyone can fit inside a hula hoop!

Will says, "Hey look at this cool seal I found."

Then it was time for some cheering.

And some line dancing.

There was even a little hip hop break dance action.

Followed immediately by the limbo, which they all loved.  How low can you limbo?

Style is optional!  ;-)

Next up was the parachute, which is always a hit.

Funny faces from all.

And then we marched right into the other room where there was a big surprise waiting....

Look at all of that yummy dessert!  A big thank you to our friend, Dawn, who designed this beautiful dessert and snack table and made the very yummy cupcakes and cookie pops!

After some healthy snacks, it was time to sing happy birthday and make a wish.

Will always enjoys his cupcakes....especially the frosting!

Big smiles from the girls!

One last surprise was waiting in the other room......a glow stick dance party!

Before leaving, we got a group photo with Princess Jasmine.

And then some individual princess shots.

A balloon-filled car made the ride home more fun!
